Backdrop CMS is Drupal 7, modernized, and with a new mission that aims to decrease the cost of long-term website ownership.
At this Summit you'll learn about the software and its similarities and differences from the Drupal CMS. Topics covered may include:
- Showcases of sites built with Backdrop CMS
- Feature differences between Backdrop and Drupal
- Code differences between Backdrop and Drupal
- Converting modules, themes & layouts for Backdrop
- Upgrading from Drupal 7
- Contribution to the Backdrop project

Also on Thursday, we're meeting at Victory Point Cafe to have a game night and social. They dub themselves as "Berkeley's Board Game Cafe". As well as games, food & drinks are available (check their site for the details). The fun starts at 6:00 PM!
