We are so pumped to have fresh venue space for BADCamp 2019. Our new venues, yes, that's plural, are in the heart of downtown Berkeley and offer much more accessible features. The two spaces are less than a block from one another, allowing ample time to get from event to event.

Hotel Shattuck Plaza

The Hotel Shattuck Plaza is in the heart of Berkeley only a few blocks from the UC Berkeley campus. The Hotel Shattuck Plaza building is one of the oldest hotels in Berkeley and was totally renovated just a few years ago.

Training, summits, sessions, contribution, the expo hall, and BoFs will all be held at the hotel Wednesday through Saturday.

CoWorking With Wisdom by Dharma College

Dharma College is housed in an outstanding landmark building in the heart of downtown Berkeley, California. Designed by architect Walter Ratcliff, the building was first occupied in 1923.

Training, summits, and sessions will all be held at Dharma College Wednesday through Friday. They are also offering a couple of mindful classes: Freedom from Mind’s Patterns on Wednesday morning and Opening into Embodiment on Thursday morning.

Berkeley, CA 94704

Please note:

Both venues are located at the heart of downtown Berkeley, just one block from Berkeley BART and close to a few parking garages. We suggest using Public transportation whenever possible. Visit our Transportation page for a better idea of options.

There is handicapped street parking on the corner by Dharma College and the Alston Garage has accessible parking and many reserved spots for vans with lifts.
