Web Accessibility Training

This training course is a crash-course in web accessibility concepts targeted towards content managers, designers and developers working in Drupal tasked to create an "accessible website". 

We will explore accessibility laws, principles and methods of compliance through a variety of channels and uses cases. We’ll start with a basic understanding of what accessibility is and touch on a broad topic of areas accessibility affects your website.

About the Trainers:

Aimee Degnan is an IAAP Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) and a seasoned Drupal and Web Architect who helps audit and architect websites for better accessibility. She believes in eliminating all the barriers that exist for accessibility to help make the web more diverse through inclusivity.

Lindsey Gemmill is an IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) and a seasoned graphics and user experience designer with rich experience in usability and inclusive design for the web. She has extensive experience with writing for the web and accessible media. Accessible design is a priority for Lindsey, with the goal of creating an experience that works for everyone, and not the few.
