Technical Project Manager

Break it down. Build it up.

What You'll Do

You didn’t just organize Halloween candy by color, size, and overall brand sentiment — you convinced your friends to adopt your organizational schema. Today, you bring your big-picture thinking, charm and gravitas to the Internet.

Kalamuna needs a hands-on technical project manager to plan and manage one large Drupal project in higher education, and smaller contracts in parallel. You’ll push the project from discovery, including UX research and design activities, to prototyping and implementation on schedule, in scope, and on budget.

This is a half-time (20h/wk) position, with a conversion to full time (40h/wk) after 3 months. You’ll work remotely with a team across EST and PST. Proximity to Oakland or Toronto would mean more in-person collaboration.

About Kalamuna

Before we were Kalamuna, we each worked with causes that mean something to us. We’ve worked with political campaigns and arts organizations and every other kind of endeavor that means something to the human soul. And at some point, we decided to apply our skills in technology, communications and design to these causes—to work on something bigger.

We formed Kalamuna to work on that something bigger together.

Today, we help transform mission-driven organizations by empowering them with the strategy, design, and technology they need to increase their impact. We make great partners to universities, museums, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations; their missions inspire us, and this shows in everything we do. Whether it’s as a strategic advisor, technical partner, or design agency, we make our client’s mission our mission.
