BADCamp is only a couple of days away!!

With the shift in venues, we thought we'd put together a list of local places that serve up good grub. Knowing that the attendees of BADCamp are diverse, so are the restaurants on our list. We have indicated if we have confirmed that they serve vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

Angeline's Louisiana Kitchen

Angeline's brings the flavor and atmosphere of a New Orleans neighborhood restaurant ​to downtown Berkeley, with great music, libations and the classic dishes invented in the Big Easy's greatest kitchens.

Founded in 1994 by Jorge Saldana, Cancun opened its doors downtown providing a central location for easy, dine-in or takeout, healthy Mexican food in Berkeley. Beloved from the beginning, Cancun, with its local farm to table ingredients, fresh salsa bar, big open space and high ceilings, continues to offer homemade traditional Mexican dishes, made to order with love.

Steps off BART, in the heart of Downtown Berkeley, this brewhouse features two stories of seating, a heated beer garden, live music, delicious food & incredible local beer.

top dog grew out of a boy's love of sausage, a staple in his German immigrants' New York home over the WWII years. Steaks? Tubesteaks! His paper route to a well-mixed neighborhood assured that Italian, Polish, even Hungarian sausages were soon no strangers to that developing appetite and palate. Nor had he far to go to a cart or stand offering kosher style "Franks", usually steeped but better off the griddle.
